Software License Agreement

Standard licence governing installation and use of software products purchased from WebShristy.

Last updated: 06 September 2026

This Software License Agreement applies to software products supplied by WebShristy, a brand operated by Webshristy Enterprises, unless a product page or separate written agreement expressly provides different terms.

1. Licence grant

After full payment, we grant the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the product on one production website or application, together with reasonable staging or local-development copies used only for that same production deployment. A broader licence applies only if stated on the product page or order.

2. Permitted use

You may configure the product for the licensed deployment, make internal backup copies and modify source files for your own licensed use. You are responsible for testing modifications and retaining original backups. Modification does not transfer ownership and may limit our ability to provide support.

3. Restrictions

You may not sell, sublicense, rent, publish, distribute, share or make the product available to an unlicensed person; use one licence for unrelated production deployments; remove proprietary or licence notices; bypass licence or access controls; claim authorship of the original product; or incorporate it into a product or service intended for redistribution without written permission.

Your employees and contractors may access files only as needed for the licensed deployment and must keep them confidential. You remain responsible for their compliance.

4. Ownership and third-party components

WebShristy and its licensors retain all rights in the product and documentation. Open-source or third-party components remain governed by their respective licences. Where a third-party licence conflicts with this Agreement for that component, the third-party licence controls only that component.

5. Updates and support

The licence to the downloaded version is separate from access to future updates and support. The duration and scope of updates or support are those shown on the product page, order or separate agreement. Compatibility with future third-party platform versions is not guaranteed unless an applicable update is released.

6. Security and backups

You are responsible for protecting downloaded files and licence credentials, maintaining backups, applying relevant updates and testing in a non-production environment before deployment.

7. Term and termination

The licence continues unless it expires under product-specific terms or is terminated for material breach. If you breach the licence and do not remedy the breach after notice where remediation is possible, we may terminate it. On termination you must stop using and delete unlicensed copies. Accrued payment obligations and clauses concerning ownership, restrictions and liability survive.

8. Warranty, liability and law

Product warranties, liability limits, refunds, governing law and dispute resolution are set out in the Terms of Service and Refund Policy. Mandatory statutory rights continue to apply.

9. Licence questions

For multi-site, agency, resale, embedded-distribution or other extended rights, obtain written permission before use. Contact contact@webshristy.com for commercial licensing or support@webshristy.com for product support.

We use cookies

We use cookies to improve your experience and analyse traffic. By accepting you consent to our use of cookies.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Webshristy Enterprises, operating the WebShristy brand, handles personal data when you visit the website, create an account, purchase a product, contact us or use support services.

1. Data we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

  • identity and contact data, including name, email address, phone number and company;
  • account data, login and security records;
  • billing, tax, order, invoice, currency and transaction-reference data;
  • delivery, download, licence, update and support history;
  • support tickets, messages, attachments and compatibility information you submit;
  • technical and usage data such as IP address, device/browser information, timestamps, referring pages, cookies and security logs;
  • communication and marketing preferences; and
  • any other information you voluntarily provide.

Payment providers process card, bank or wallet details. We receive transaction status and references but do not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.

2. Why we use data

We use personal data to provide the website, authenticate accounts, process and document purchases, deliver downloads, manage licences, provide support, communicate service or security notices, prevent fraud, maintain records, improve reliability, comply with law and establish or defend legal claims. Optional marketing is sent only where we have the required permission, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

We process data on the basis of consent where required and for lawful uses connected with fulfilling your request, contract, legal obligations, security and permitted business operations.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies keep sessions, checkout, security and preferences working. We may use limited analytics or performance technologies where enabled and permitted. You can control non-essential cookies through the consent controls or browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account or checkout features from working.

4. When data is shared

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share only what is reasonably necessary with service providers supporting hosting, email, security, analytics, customer support, file delivery and payment processing; with professional advisers; with authorities where lawfully required; or in connection with a business reorganisation subject to appropriate safeguards. Providers act under their own terms or our instructions, depending on their role.

5. International processing

Some service providers may process data outside your state or country. Where this occurs, we use appropriate contractual, technical and organisational safeguards and comply with applicable transfer restrictions.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above. Account data is retained while the account is active; support and security records are retained for operational and dispute-resolution needs; and transaction, invoice and tax records are retained for periods required by applicable law. We then delete or anonymise data unless a legal hold applies.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and access-control safeguards, including encrypted transport, restricted access, authentication controls, logging and backups where appropriate. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use a unique password and notify us promptly about suspected unauthorised access.

8. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for information about your personal data, access or correction, erasure where retention is no longer required, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal, or nomination of another person to exercise rights in specified circumstances. You may also unsubscribe from marketing. We may verify your identity and may retain information where law requires it or a valid exception applies.

Send a request to contact@webshristy.com. If your concern is not resolved, you may use remedies available under applicable data-protection or consumer law.

9. Children

The store is intended for persons capable of entering into a valid purchase contract and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit personal data from a child without the consent or other authorisation required by law. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data improperly.

10. External links and platforms

Our website may link to third-party platforms, documentation or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we encourage you to review them.

11. Updates to this policy

We may revise this Policy when our services or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will be published on this page. We will provide additional notice where a material change requires it.
